1. What services do you offer?
At Makeup by Kirsty, I specialise in a wide range of makeup services including bridal makeup, special occasion glam, event and photoshoot makeup, and soft glam for everyday beauty. Whether you're walking down the aisle, heading to a formal, or stepping in front of the camera, I tailor each look to enhance your natural features while ensuring it lasts all day (and night!). I also offer group bookings and small bridal party packages for a stress-free glam experience.
How do I book an appointment?
Booking your makeup session is simple and seamless! You can head to the Appointments section of my website to select your service, date, and time. Once your request is submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details. For bridal or group bookings, I recommend filling out a contact form to discuss your needs in more detail and secure your date in advance.
Do you travel for makeup appointments?
Yes! I’m based on the Gold Coast but absolutely love hitting the road for my clients. Travel is available across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Northern NSW and surrounding areas. A small travel fee may apply depending on the location but is included 20km from the studio, and all of this will be clearly outlined in your quote. For destination weddings or events, just pop me a message—I'm always up for a glam-packed getaway!
What should I do to prepare for my appointment?
To get the best results, I recommend coming to your appointment with clean, makeup-free skin. If you're having a trial or big event glam, please bring inspiration photos or reference looks so I can understand your vision. Also, if you’ve had any recent skin treatments, allergies or sensitivities, let me know in advance so I can select the best products for your skin.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens, to respect everyone's time, I do require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or changes to individual appointments. For bridal or group bookings, different terms apply and will be outlined in your contract. Cancellations made outside of the notice period will result in a fee or loss of deposit.
